Hi Guys,

I've just updated my new iPod Nano to 1.0.2. What does it actually fix? Being Apple, they just say "Bug Fixes." Can anyone notice any changes?

Thanks,

iPod Nano 4G Software 1.0.2 Released

As noted by our forum members and iLounge, Apple has released iPod Nano 4G Software 1.0.2, notably skipping software version 1.0.1.

iLounge notes that some small typographical errors have been fixed but otherwise nothing groundbreaking is included in the release. The software is available via the iPod software update feature of iTunes.

Hmmm..... seems they corrected typos and ended up making one in the update title itself? 2.0.2! Why?

You disgust Apple :p

I know! How dare I try to get full use out of a product I bought less than a year ago....:eek:

Genius is really an iTunes feature that also works with some iPods (and the iPhone, including my v1 iPhone). It's not like it's an iPod feature that requires new hardware (like an inclinometer or built in Nike+). It makes no sense to not just pop it into some software updates for existing owners. Lame.

I don't think that most current Nano owners are going to ditch their Nanos just for the use of Genius. At least I won't. Besides, I actually like the shape of my 3G Nano.

Indicative

Typos in a software for a major product release?! What the hell is going on at Apple? You wonder why they have had so many miss-steps in the past few months. Wow, this should be alarming to all of us.

The first thing I thought when I heard about the typos was: W.T.H.?
