Since getting my iPhone, I wanted to carry my headphones with me since I always have my music and videos. I found this thread and picked up a Case Logic USB Drive Case from Best Buy.

The headphones fit well by putting the wires on one pocket and the buds on the pocket (first 3 pics). I actually cram the headphones all in one pocket so I can use the other pocket for my Leatherman micra (last pic).

I'm happy with the purchase since now I always have my headphones, it's cheaper than the BudCase and Earbuddy and it was available at a local Best Buy, so no shipping :)

best buy huh? perfect, i'll pick one up after my shift there.

great idea!
just wish it was a bit more compact.

Well … on the one hand it is cool. I am always fiddling with a place to put my earphones. On the other hand, I am not a fan of key rings with a bunch of **** on them. I like to keep it minimal, which apparently makes me wired wrong as I'm a female and I think I'm supposed to have 5 keys and 15 key rings.

Still a great find.

If a keychain addition is not for you, it can be placed in a bag and prevent tangling/damage with other items. I've ruined a couple headphones from wrapping them around my previous iPod and tossing them in my bag.

Thanks for the comments everyone, I hope you'll find it helpful.

It's definitely an upgrade from my previous headphone case, an old Starbucks mint tin. (When I switched from keeping it in my bag to my pocket, it would cling-clang with my keys and change )
