If you're looking for a case for your 2G Touch, Best Buy already has one on the shelf from Belkin. It's a silicon sleeve. Just picked one up a few days ago for $24.99+tax.

Took these pictures using my cell phone, so not super clear. But hopefully will give you all an idea what it's like.

I guess I need to go check this out in person, but would you mind giving an idea of how much bulk this case adds to the iPod? Best Buy posts the "depth" as 0.4 inches, while Apple says the 'touch itself is 0.33 inches. Does this mean the case adds negligible bulk but therefore provides minimal padding? Or does the depth value not mean what I think it does?

Thanks!!

someone got one of these from best buy last week and posted some good pictures... you should be able to find it with a little searching if you want to see the pics.

I purchased this case last Saturday @ Worse Buy and I have to say its really good. It doesn't add much bulk and it the iPod feels really good in your hands (in the case of course). I am waiting for them to come out in the solid colors @ 2 cases for $19.99.

I saw it, but it looks kinda...funky to me. I guess I'll wait until something a bit more subdued comes out.

For some reason i like flip cases.

I flip case on a touch doesn't sound like a bad idea.
Although, if I were using a clickwheel iPod I would not want one.

And most flip cases are leather, I want a hard case so if I drop it I won't freak out as much.

The bad thing about flip cases is the bulk . I went though 2 flip cases for my 1g touch and didn't use them much bc they both sucked. But u think bc of the cushion it would protect better .

Sucked bc it would fall out and the stand would never hold up.

Why does the screen look all messed up?
Does it have some type of cover?

The screen does have a screen protector on it. The bars that you see is just the reflection of the mini-blind since the picture was taken from a table by the window.

Hmm, not crazy about the those red design lines on the back, not very stylish. I'll wait for something else, there will be so many more cases available soon.

Got this case, found tiny scratches a week later...unbelievable. Apple needs to get rid of the stainless steel back. If a silicone case can scratch it, then it means the iPod is too sensitive.
