I am counting the days (28) until I can dump Sprint & get a 3G.

I am looking forward to the iPod feature for podcasts & audio books. I was wondering how people safely carry their ear buds on a daily basis. The wires look so thin, there must be a good way to carry them when not actually using them with their iPhone.

Roll them up, drop them in my pocket. Haven't had a problem yet. (1+ year with the same pair)

I bought a little usb case at Walmart(cost around $5). The case is supposed to attach to your keychain but I don't use it that way. It has two pockets in it and I roll them up and stuff them in the little pockets of the usb case. This keeps them from tangling with everything else and makes them easy to find in my pocket. It's a tight fit to get them in the pockets but once you get it down it works fine and keeps them from getting tangled and mangled. I used to just roll them up and stuff them in my pocket but it wasn't as convenient.

I hope that helps
Eric

i just roll them up on two fingers (middle and index) to be exact and drop them in my 5th pocket of my Jeans if not just any other pocket.. but im almost always wearing Jeans.

Found this need little case on the web called BudCase. Definately worth looking at. I use to forget my ear buds at home or work all the time. Since us getting one of these bad boys, keeping up with my ear buds is a lot easier.

*off soap box*

I thought about the budcase and earbuddy, but opted to do the USB keychain case, too. Here's my thread with pics:

I found a small slim pencil case that I keep my charge cord, earbuds, power converter (for outlet & car) and my cleaning cloth in. Makes it easy to get to...however, it's a little easier for a girl to carry since we carry purses.

But, any small zip case would work.
Small change pouch, or what not. :D

Great pics in that thread and that is exactly the case I have. I have modified mine a little, since I don't carry on my keychain I cut the clip off and just carry it loose in my pocket.

I also checked out the budcase and it was not quite what I wanted.

I actually keep my better earphones safe by using the stock earbuds... they're so cheap and sound, ehhh. So when I'm at the gym, or just want to take them along somewhere I'm not worried if they break or get stolen.
