570 bucks for mini setup,help.

Well I have 570 bucks saved up from selling stuff and and birthday money. I need everything ; mini,keyboard,mouse and monitor. For the mini I am looking at the 479 dollar refurb with core 2 duo and the 429 dollar refurb core duo. Is the core duo worth the cash? I need help choosing a kb,mouse and monitor.

I will be using this with leopard for web browsing,chatting,music and lots of tv and movies. I will eventually upgrade to 2 gigs of ram which is what like 60 bucks now from a third party retailer.

Core 2 for sure. I am investigating the same exact things you are. But where are you seeing a $400 refurb?

Alright thats what I was thinking. So after leopard which is ten dollars I believe I would have 90 bucks left. I guess I gotta save a little more for a nice monitor.

Early Tuesday mornings when they add refurbs theres a core duo for 429.
