I check the app store everyday for new apps. The " all iPhone applications" count was up to about 190 pages yesterday. Today it is showing as 90. Has Apple changed the way they count apps? Surely 100 pages of apps didn't disappear. I have a hunch they are now counting actual individual apps where previously they might have been counting updates to an app as a separate app. In other words an app 1.0 counted as 1 app, the same app at 1.1 counted as another app, and so on. I could be wrong, just looking to make some sense out of it.

Anyone know what changed?
