@ home.
Hello everybody. Once again, I'm facing hardware issues on my Mac's. This is my second MacBook and now am getting really pissed off on the low quality components Apple use for their Mac's. I know that I'll get like hundred's of post's bashing me that I don't care of my 'book but I really threat it gently. Well, now back to my initial problem. Today I started my MacBook and I heard the strange noises. I panicked and did a backup. The strange thing is that the HD is not already dead. I got a video of the startup so, if I'm wrong in any matter please tell me.

Yes. The sound's are only in the startup and when I enter Disk Utility.
My optical drive checks for discs as well when starting Disk Utility as well.

It was a good idea to backup since it was a little startling. I'm not sure what other advice I can give you. If you're still concerned I'd take it into an Apple Store if you can.

It seems like normal operations albeit noisy to me.

Thanks for the input! I'll be observing for any strange behavior, as well as making frequent backups.
