MSN Spam messages???

I use Adium (newest version) and just recently in the last month or so my MSN acct. has been getting these spam IM's almost every hour or two. They are just plain annoying and now I can't seem to find any kind of defense. Anyone have any suggestions?
I'd rather just turn off my MSN before I stopped using Adium.

No, they're from porn spam names (email addresses). I've had the friends list spams happen too, but that hasn't happened in a long time. I keep thinking it has to have something to do with my Hotmail acct. linked to my MSN but really am stumped.

I'm getting this as well. It is driving me nuts!

The strange thing is that I don't get these messages when I use web messenger at work.

On edit: I even continue to get spam from address that I have blocked.

Are your privacy settings set to disallow messages from people not on your contact list?
