If you watch the rest of the video you can also see laser cutting speaker holes to the 17" MBP.

The distance between the edge of the laptop and edge of the keyboard is too big to be 15" MBP

But what are they? Just the same specs as the 15" model, or will they actually upgrade it? Throw in an upgraded GPU at least?

Look at the gallery (second image from the left) for the 15" MBP on Apple's site. The image you posted with the red circles is the same image on their site. This means it is the 15" case. It appears the keys are smaller, therefore there is extra space.

I really hope they are making them right now and had to delay to ass some new features...and I hope they come soon :[[

Looks plausible that they are in the video though.

I hope it's not, as it's too similar. I hope since they're not announcing it, it means the 17" is going to be something better-actually upgrade the GPU, let us have a quad core, etc.

Quad core 17" coming at NAB in April at the latest if not earlier....
I always thought 17" was just a bit too big to be portable... but if this was the case i would be trading in my 15" for that mbp... how do people with a 17" feel about it's portability?

I agree. The 17" is great and I love the screen, but I felt it was too big to take around with me all the time which is the reason I got a laptop.

Very portable. Well I do carry 2 laptops around, so size isn't really an issue to me, but just by itself, it's quite sleek. It doesn't feel heavy at all.

glad to hear it :) I really would love to have a bit more screen real estate and it would be nice to go with my 23 or 30" ACD when they finally get updated... but I was just always frightened it was just to monstrous... I do love the size of the 15" but im starting to like the sound of a bigger one... How would you compare the weight of the two when being carried around for a while? Is it overly noticeable? I'm looking to upgrade next summer or fall (whenever that update may be) so i should go camp out at an apple store and see if i can get used to the bigger size

Old MBP 17" got a refresh, there is no NEW CASE 17" MBP yet avaliable.
Old MBP got 1900x1200 LED screen as standard as well as 320GB HDD.

This video shows the new 17" "Brick" case...

What makes me wonder is why they made 1920x1200 standard for 17" and yet didn't offer hi-res option for 15"? Are they going to downgrade with the next revision? Or when they give 17" a new case (I think it's coming), will they upgrade the 15" to 1680x1050?

IMO 1920xwhatever is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too high resolution for a tiny 17" screen. 1440xwhatever seems solid on that. Probably 1280xwhatever on a 15" one (although even those are much higher than the equivalent desktop screens)...

If we had resolution independence, but OS X has none, and I've never actually played with Vista's support to see if it's functional.
