I am looking to buy a laptop case for christmas for my girlfriend who has the new 13 inch aluminum macbook. She would like a bag that fits the laptop very snugly while still having room for a textbook or too as well as the power adapter and miscellaneous school supplies. I can't find any cases specifically designed for the new macbook, and it is prefferable that the bag have a feminime design, possibly a tote bag design. Any recommendations on laptop cases for the 13 inch aluminum macbook would be gratefully appreciated.

Thanks,

I got a sleeve for my new Macbook from Be.Ez -- http://www.be-ez.com/

They don't have many products at the Apple store but if you look on Amazon you can find pretty much all of their products.

check out BBP Bags

they are really nice looking and practical. Plus the come in three sizes.

Small for 13 inch MB
Medium for 15 inch MBP
Large for 17" MBP

They're actually affordable, and plenty of extra space for books. I used a large one last year while teaching and carried three text books along with a 15 inch laptop.

In addition, can configure to carry as tote, messenger bag, or backpack.

Best wishes.

Haven't bought one yet (a sleeve, the MacBook is on it's way), but I'm really digging the foofbags. Especially the Origami Kuro design.

EDIT: Okay, I bought one. Darn, it's good looking!

Wow you got me sold on the origami foof. If I got her the matching one for her ipod touch 2g she'd be stoked.

Crazy how there are two other threads about this very thing. Leads me to believe that two of the three failed the whole search thingy. With that said I recommend Booq cannot be happier with the two bags and the sleeve that I have purchased from them.

They look okay, I'd say. But then again, I would never, ever buy something from a brand that uses Comic Sans as a corporate font.

Well, you are NOT the thread starter. And I think if you would avoid a bag that may be superior in every way, including price, because of its corporate logo that is your prerogative. But in my opinion, you are a little too uptight and must have a rather privileged life. I mean the logo is NOT even on the bag. Congrats.

BTW, I am willing to pay more for my computer (heck I am an Apple junkie), bag, etc for a BETTER design and overall quality product... I just wonder if being so concerned with the logo, that is NOT even on the bag itself is well, SMART.
