Sounds average. It's also right in the same ballpark of a new Dell 27, but you don't get a camera/mic & speakers if that's important.

Half the I.O. is outdated (USB2 & Firewire) but it's still a great way to hook up a laptop.

I think it is a good deal. Apple sells refurb TBD for 800$+Tax

Good price assuming all the cables are intact (the magsafe and thunderbolt cables are often frayed and used apple displays). Also, watch out for scratches and chips in the glass in the corners. Apple products hold their resale value if there are no cosmetic defects, otherwise can get discounted quite a bit.

this monitor is WAY overpriced due to the apple logo, similar 1440p panels can be found for 200-400 new, uses same lg ips panels. for that much money you can buy a new dell 4k ips. so unless you are buying purely for the aesthetics. get a 4k ips and a logitech c920 for like 50 bucks off amazon.
