Why wouldn't it be? But a 5K resolution doesn't necessarily mean cutting edge visuals - Especially not at that price.

Sears is still (barely) operating, but they do have stores still open.

Have you tried contacting the seller? their return policy says "most" items can be returned in 30 days (to NY), not encouraging, especially since online reviews of this monitor are not that great; some QC issues.
