5k monitor vs. 2k with display hack (text)

Hi,

I find inconclusive information about the following problem and do not have a thorough understanding of these matters.

It is mainly about the ease of reading text.

If I run a 5k monitor at native resolution , it will be sharper than a 2k at native resolution.

But when I need to scale the 5k monitor (like most people do on macOS presumably) and compare it to a 2k monitor with an app like "betterdisplay", will the two monitors be approximately comparable in terms of text clarity or "sharpness"?
I do not fully understand if the ppi values of the monitor changes (so to speak)?

thanks,btw. I knew there is a drastic difference when the 1440 p is at native resolution. But what happens when an app like better display ( -I do not know if there are alternatives) is used?

What is 1440p model you took screenshot?
Studio display is basically scaled at 1440p is it?

1440p model is Dell U2719D and my Studio Display is scaled at 1440p

Can 1440p be scaled at 1080p? If Yes then how things look especially text?
