I'm taking a bucket list level vacation next week. I plan to shoot some underwater footage with a GoPro Hero 9. I have many resolution options including 4K and 5K. I intend to put my video together into a 3 or 4 minute movie when I'm back. My computer is a 2020 M1 MBP with 16gb RAM. I only plan on using iMovie and not trying to do any special effects; just splicing clips and stills together with some music. Will the M1 struggle with 5K/30FPS or should I cut back on the resolution?
