Just did an install of iOS 8 on my 5S. I noticed that immediately my iPhone started to run on be hot side -and i wasn't even playing any games; only tinkering with the settings.

Has anyone else experienced this? I also notice that my battery is draining much more quickly than before... :(

Yeah always happens where installing new OS it gets hot. Cools down quickly.

I just updated OTA and my 5S is running just as good if not better than before. No heat, no battery drain whatsoever (just now dropped from 98% to 97% after roughly 25 mins use) and everything is smooth as silk. No tab reloads as of yet either. Couldn't be happier, I hope the performance holds up.

The only thing I did immediately after updating was a hard reboot.

You must have a really fast internet connection. Mine is so-so and mine only got warm.

I experienced this issue. I tried a reset network settings.... until now, after I did that, everything is good.

Mine has been draining faster than before it seems. 1% every 5 min just with the screen on and nothing else. How fast is yours?
