5S order placed via debit card

Hi guys, I placed an order for a 32Gb space grey 5S via the apple store app on Friday at 3pm with my debit card (late I know and dispatched October)
Just noticed that there has been no charge or holdin fee taken from apple, does it only get taken from account once order has been fully processed?
No iphone availability in my local store and they unsure when they will be receiving any stock so I guess I'm going to just have to wait it out
