I have a couple of scratches that
you can feel when scrolling up and down the iphone screen. Do you know of anything that would help remove these? Or at least make them smaller?

Don't know about removing them but if you put a screen protector on it, you shouldn't be able to feel them.

Not sure what the screen is completely made of. glass/ sapphire/mixture? But there are compounds that call fill light surface scratches. My watchmaker uses it on some if my vintage watches.

You have to be careful what you use. The scratches could be in the Oleophobic coating and not in the glass. If you use a glass polishing agent, you will strip the coating off.
