5s Wifi Connection Issues

Hi. Im having trouble connecting to my home wifi with my new 5s. When I go into settings it shows my wifi network has full bars and a check next to it for connected....but I'm not as my status bar still shows LTE. My iPad and laptop are both connected to the same network with no problems. I tried resetting network settings to no help. Any ideas?
