5secs of black screen on mbp

I was on youtube watching a vid when suddenly the screen and the keyboard went black, after 5-6seconds they lit up again and the wifi connection was lost.

I have a mid 2012 mbp with 10.8.5
what was the problem? it's the second or third time this happened

when this happened was there audio playing back? or any signs that the computer is actually on but keyboard and display went of?
What usually triggers this?

Do a smc and pram reset and repair all permissions on your hard drive as well as verify if the drive is good. Then check if the issue occurs again so we can go further.

It happened again now
I realized that I had my iphone on the mac, on the left of the trackpad. It was interfering with the magnet used when you close the lid of the mac and puts it to sleep... try it out, put the camera on the iphone near "fn" key
