I have a Pioneer head unit with a 7 inch screen and the older gen iPod Touch/Ipad works flawlessly with video in the car using a cable I have. It has a 30 pin that goes to the device and the other end has a USB and a 3.5mm headphone plug. My new iPod Touch wont even show the video listed when browsing on my head unit. I can get audio from it but no video. Any new adapters out to send video from the new iPods or iPads to car stereos? I am aware there is a lightning to 30 pin Apple makes, but it says it doesnt support video which sucks.

I also have a Pioneer AVIC head unit that has my iPod classic connected to it. Not sure when Apple will release such adapter that will pass video to it.

Any 3rd party adapters you know of? The new Ipod's have been out for quite awhile now. Pretty crap nothing has come out to allow video yet.

No 3rd party out there. Really don't know why Apple decided not to be able to pass video as well with their adapter.
