5th gen iPod Sync problem

I have had no problems syncing my 5th generation iPod until I checked Enable Spoken Menus. There is no problem with Enable Voiceover. I have tried this 4 times and each time iTunes 9.0.2 crashes. If I uncheck Enable Spoken Menus the problem goes away. Firmware is 1.0.2, worked ok in 1.0.1
