At work we use two iPod touches for various stuff throughout the day (don't want to get too detailed because privacy). We use homemade apps. We've been doing this for years so I don't think there's an issue there.
Lately, the two we have haven't been keeping time right. When set to automatic it will be off by a minute or two. Manual mode I'd have to change it every few weeks. Finally, one of them just stopped keeping time all together.
I took them both home and restored them through iTunes, then did an Erase All Content and Settings (to keep my name away from it). One is working fine with Automatic Time, the other doesn't change at all. I put it in a drawer on Oct 28 at 8:01pm and this morning it was still there. I also tried it on Manual time and it did the same.
I did some googling and all I could find was to Automatic Time on and that should be fine. It didn't work.
I'm hoping someone here may have seen this or can tell me how to fix it? Would this be better posted in the iOS section?
