6.1.3 v.s. new iOS for performing a JB?

Should I update to anything newer before trying a JB?

Dont upgrade, the current iOS 7 is not JB-able at the moment. Wait for a jailbreak to be released for the newest iOS (which probably wont be done until post iOS8)

Is Evasi0n 71.0.8 the latest? It is strict about using the latest or I can mess things up

Using P0sixpwn and right after I get the "Performing Magic" message, I get the "Program has stopped working" message about 20 seconds later or so


I have both devices connected to the internet, what am I doing wrong?

Not sure, bought it on eBay from a lady that bought it new 2 years ago and rarely used it



I tried to use the latest version of P0sixpwn (version 1.8) again and says that I am already jail Broken so I guess if I can get the Cydia app on here I may be set

open safari and type "cydia://" and see if that opens cydia for you. if not, then it means you don't have cydia on your device
