MP 6,1 6.1 Firmware lock

Anyone know how to get past a firmware lock on a 6.1 Mac Pro?

Do you mean there's a firmware password? Or do you mean iCloud/MDM lock?

Firmware password can be removed, but requires desoldering an reprogramming the SPI located on the backplane.

Probably there are easier ways, for sure Apple will have tools for that.

I believe it is a firmware lock it loads to a lock with a password input.

I think you said it came from a school? You should contact the seller for the password - they should have unlocked it before a sale.
