What are they saying about backordered people. You can't get through to save your life.

After 15 min on hold I got through. They said everyone who ordered on the 15th will get it on the 24th. The backorder should disappear soon and it will ship with overnight shipping for arrival on the 24th.

So good news for those of us still backordered!

Thats the same info I got. If your ORIGINAL order date was the 15th you are good to go for delivery on the 24th. I ordered via premier on the 6/15 but status showed on the regular site 6/16. Rep assured me everything is OK & I should receive an email with a FedEx number within 24 hrs.

This is about what I was told this morning. Said they were scheduled to ship *on* the 24th (Ive been told *on* the 24th every time Ive talked to anyone in premier over the last week) however they were doing everything they could to get them shipped the day before so that they arrived on the 24th. My order is on the regular att site marked as 6/21, but my original order date was early afternoon on 6/15. So we'll see.

I just spoke with them for 30 minutes. And the manager assured me that they will not be shipping till the 24th and that we will NOT get them till the 25th. They obviously have no clue what they are doing over there. He also fought me on the day that the preorders were "live". He told me that he was certain that it was the 14th. I told him to go pick up a newspaper and read how horrible your systems handled the pre-order on the 15th!

As much as I want to hope some of you guys at the beginning of the thread are right, I am very skeptical. The way I see it AT&T would make their lives easier and also appease all customers by saying that their phones would arrive by the 24th.

The fact that a "manager" didn't know when the pre-order started doesn't surprise me. I have a feeling no one at AT&T knew when it started. lol
