Usually I would never comment on cables much less make a whole thread but I got the new 6foot apple white braided usb-c cable today and I must say the quality is really really good and still the same price $29. (not sure if the 3 foot is available for $19 or not).

So ya.. great job on that apple. :)

You get excellent braided cable (Lillhult) with the same transfer speed and similar maximal power support for significantly less from… Ikea. 🤓

Apple‘s new braided cables aren’t bad, they feel nice imo but I second going with Anker for longer length ( 6 &10ft) and up to 100w for much cheaper while being super reliable.

I wonder if is capable of 240w, which device require or is even cable of receiving or giving that kind of wattage?, usb2 is a joke if this was usb3 plus then yeah not bad and cable would be handy for other stuff. The whole idea of USB. I’m not fun how they limit the 15 &15Plus to usb 2 speeds. I get that not many will use cable to transfer data over it but having cable that can charge at high wattage and be capable of high speed transfer would be plus.

They didn't really actively limit it to be fair. USB 3 is part of the A17 Pro... 15 and plus got the A16.. which also didn't have it when it was part of the Pro.

Ah that would explain it 👍
