iPad 6 Generation iPad Not Working

I have a 6 Generation iPad that's not working (the screen).
I've tried hard resetting to no avail.
I don't hear a lock sound and Siri won't work, but I do hear a charging sound will work.
I'm not sure what other trouble shooting could I do.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Connect it to an external monitor and see what happens.
