for the 6 model I have the home button seems to be a less "satisfying" click than the 5S if that makes any sense. But the 5S had the noise that bothered people. so guess you can't win.

people noticing the same?

There will be tolerances at work here and if you took a handful of phones, some will have a different home button 'feeling'.

haha but are people getting the sound that was on 5S? i guess best way is to goto apple store to see how yours compares

Home buttons are different between different iterations of iPhones and even between batches of the same iteration. Not much you can do about it so it's best not to be anal-retentive about little things like that.

pick....pick...pick...pick...pick...

Apple users are world class knit-pickers! Nobody even comes close!

My six is clicky as well. I like it, but it is louder than I'm used to, which I'm sure will go away in time. Only downside is that using my phone in class might be harder now, though I shouldn't be using it in class to begin with so...

crazy...had my plus for 3 hrs, and havent looked for any defects other than the device when i took out of box...just enjoy the phone, its awesome

The thing is ... if you come from the 5s you might think the button is somehow broken or not properly assembled.

It seems to have more wiggle-room. I cannot describe it.
But it works all the time and I even believe that Touch-ID is faster.

"Satisfying?" It's a button.

What I WISH with all my might is that Apple would allow configuration of the "tap" functionality. Every iOS device I've ever owned gets a loose/creaky button after 100 presses a day, every day. I would love to be able to just tap the button to close an app and double tab to use the app switcher.

That double tap for "reachability" is useless to me, but may help others.

Very happy here with mine. Last place you will find me is at a crazy Apple Store, today!

The crazy was yesterday. Today you just have more people looking/gawking. I wouldn't think the lines would still be there.

The Apple Store is packed shoulder to sholder on a normal weekend day, sorry I would not get near the madhouse.

You have obviously moved beyond self-actualization on Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs if you are discussing the satisfaction of pressing a phone button. I just have no ability to relate to this. Sorry. Congrats though on going beyond the top level.
