6 months ago, i dropped my 3g iphone in the toilet.
now it got very hot, appeared not to work at all.
so i got a new one on insurance.
i lost until today, when i was looking for something else. turned it on, and yes what it works..
so now i have a 3g spare
..
ONLY the screen is very dark, backlight or something has gone.
ALSO its been "turned off" by the insurers..
so 2 questions. can i replace the backlight if thats what it is.
and 2. can i jailbreak then unlock a phone that has been turned off by the insurers..
