6 plus battery usage

Yeah I'm trying hard to understand how someone can end up with 14hrs battery life. So far it's only been 2 hour improvement over 5s, usually 6-9 on average.
same here, my first couple cycles were fantastic but the last few cycles have been decent to say the least and my usage habits nor settings have changed. I also always put my phone on airplane mode when i'm home since i connect to T Mobile WiFi and still the battery usage isnt that impressing compared to my brand new iPhone 5 back in the day. I have also noticed how memory hungry the Plus is compared to the 6. Always running in the low 100 MBs even double digits which causes my phone to crash. 6 Plus has 976 MB of RAM actually compared to the 5/5s/6 which all have 1015 of RAM. Weird.
Im getting around 9 1/2 hours- 11 of true usuage on my 6 plus. No manuplating at all. I have noticed the battery drains faster on 8.1.
Isn't it true that when they test the battery life expectancy they turn off all features that usually consume the most battery, and aren't those reported usage times always exaggerated? Just saying, pretty sure people ALWAYS get lower battery life than what's promised by the manufacturers, in real world use.
Prior to 8.1 I used to have good battery life. But after installing 8.1 I've been noticing some battery drains on 8.1. I've also noticed more jetsam event errors on the diagnostic and usage page.

Same here. I noticed today that my battery usage is saying its in full use even when in standby mode.

Doubt it's an exchange server since I don't have one and all services have been disabled. I've tried to fix it already.
yea I'm seeing a ton of the jetsam error. I never got those on 8.0 (I know it existed on 8.0 as I saw them on the Apple store demo phone, but not on my device). So this is clearly an 8.1 issue. AFAIK, jetsam has to do with low memory (RAM) error.
Well crap that's making me sad to think that a jb on 8.1 might've been wasted, since it needs a fix
yeah 975 MB of RAM is just not sufficient enough for such a beast of a phone... i run SysStats Lite app and my Plus is constantly running in the low 100 MBs even hitting the double digits for the most part. It leads to crashes which leads to more battery consumption
i Know its pretty lame but this was just Apples attempt to see if their consumers are truly ready for a phablet which is why i think they threw in the same exact specs as the regular 6. Why beef up a phablet that hasnt been introduced to Apple fans and could have been dead on arrival? I bet you anything the 6S+ wont have the same specs as the 6S now that they have realized consumers are ready for an Apple phablet. This was just the test model.
God I am sad that that makes so much sense. Hope they toss out a quick patch for this
I don't know how people have 4-5 games as their top battery draining applications and get 11 hours usage time and 2+ days standby...

2-3 bars of LTE pretty consistently
Location Services only on all the time for weather and on use for some apps.
