6 PLUS lock screen camera and center shortcut app not working

so when im on lock screen and i swipe up to get the camera or the center bar for the shortcuts, it doesnt work no matter how i swipe, fast or slow or gently.

is there something wrong with my phone? or is it the ios 8 problem? anyone else have this issue?

I get this problem too.

It's usually fixed if you unlock the phone, lock it again and it will swipe up as usual.

I'm on a normal 6.

I believe this is an iOS 8 issue.
