Hi,

I was looking for some hands on suggestions for a splash proof case for my 6 plus. I don't really need a fully waterproof case as I just plan to use this for taking photos in the pool, taking on water rides at Alton Towers and things like that, rather than the phone ever being submerged.

I can't really stretch to a Lifeproof case at about £80, and was looking at something like an Otterbox Defender, but wondered if there were any other suggestions?

Thanks,

Paul.

Paul, I can tell you first-hand that Supcases are GREAT. They make a few for the 6/6 plus that are water resistant, not fully submersible. The best part is they cost $20 and on top of it, they are a more thin style water resistant case so it doesn't add a lot of bulk if that bothers you. Here is the one I have for my 6, has 3 back-plates you can change out. http://www.amazon.com/SUPCASE-Full-...5412631&sr=8-2&keywords=supcase+iphone+6+plus

Another one I have is the Beetle Series, also a good case, however this one is a little less protected than the first one I posted. It doesn't have a membrane over the home button. It does have built in screen protection like the other, but the home button is left exposed, also the speaker grille and earpiece on the front are left exposed. I also have this case and used it and it's even slimmer than the other one. Comes with a belt holster, $15. http://www.amazon.com/Full-body-Pro...5412843&sr=8-1&keywords=supcase+iphone+6+plus

I recommend both. Keep in mind these cases, although I think offer great protection from the elements, they aren't necessarily a shock proof type case thus why they're thin. It's a polycarbonate shell with a softer neoprene outer shell.

I have a Griffin Survivor All-Terrain case coming in the mail this week. It is water resistant, and has a thick rubber outer shell which does add bulk. I don't mind bulk, I much rather have complete protection for my uninsured iPhone. I'm gonna switch my 6 into the Griffin and compare it to the Supcases. I'll let you know how it is.
