6 zoomed compared to 6+ regular mode

I currently have the 6. Regular mode is a little too small for me to view comfortably. I'm on the phone a LOT for work during the day looking at PDFs and spreadsheets.

I am using the 6 in zoomed mode but it's a little too big and zooomed. Are the icons and interface elements on the 6 plus in regular mode about the same size as the 6 in zoomed mode, or a little smaller?
