T-mobile currently has this plan under its Prepaid Monthly 4G plan.

$60 will get you 2GB up to 4G speed (with unlimited talk and text) -- 2GB of data is enough for me
$70 will get you 5GB up to 4G speed (with unlimited talk and text)

I'm wondering if this will work for the Iphone 4? (I know T-mobile doesn't carry Iphone but lot of people uses iphone on the t-mobile network, in the millions).

The iphone will work on T-Mobile, but you will not get 4g speeds. First, the iphone is incapable of 4g speeds; Second, you won't even get the 3g speeds that the iphone IS capable of because of the kinds of network/towers used by T-Mobile. You will be stuck on Edge (2G). Yes, people use the iphone on T-Mobile, but I wouldn't, personally, Edge/2g speeds are practically useless for a lot of the stuff the iphone can do. You're better of going with Straight Talk - $45/month for unlimited talk/text/3g data. Helluva lot better than your T-Mobile option.
