Its $600 for a 1/2 TB of SSD storage.. obviously in addition to the $ of the 1/4 TB storage, but for SSDs thats pretty good actually.

No its 2200 for the 256gb MBP and its 2800 for the 512gb MBP. So essentially you pay $600 for 256gb more space.

But I stand corrected cause the ssd does seem user replaceable.
