One week ago (today is Nov 24, this happened on Nov 18) the regular YouTube built in client on my I Phone 3G stopped being able to connect. Otherwise it seems to continue to work normally (e.g, I can still view bookmarked videos), it is just that I cannot connect or get anything new.

Since then I upgraded to firmware 2.2 hoping it might help -- but no difference.

Does anyone else have this experience? Any suggestions?
 
Have you tried a reboot? (hold HOME and LOCK button)

you can also always try "restore" through itunes
