First off I don't like iMovie, though I only run FCE and IMovie on my MacBook Pro, Mac Pro is where I do high end. Anyway I am looking at 2 simple camcorders, new Sony 560v and Panasonic TM900.
I try to read everything pre purchase. I read Sony 60p will not work with iMovie, curious if the TM900 does. My worry is simple edits on my laptop, and other Mac in my house that only have iMovie, plus if a customer only has iMovie and simply wants my footage, which I do run into more these days with Apple becoming so popular, actually happened the other night, different circumstances except it was digital 8 footage they wanted transferred.

Can anyone confirm how iMovie works with 60p? Is it cameras or just 60p in general.

I like my old miniDV Sony why I am looking at Sony again for a consumer camera.

Thanks

P.S trying to find the best consumer camera in my price range of 1,000 is not easy. Thanfully I have friends to loan me high end cams for big projects.
