Okay last thread I'm going to make about this pre-ordering the iPhone 4. The question I have is what the differents between 611 and 1-(866)499-8008. Well I kinda know the diffenece is kinda, I know 1-866-499-8008 is the Premier number but don't know what 611 really is.

When I called to pre-order my iPhone 4 I dialed 611 number it was placed 10:23MT 6/15. I think the reason I can't view my order on Premier site using this linkhttps://www.wireless.att.com/business/order_status/ is cause I order from strait from AT&T (611) number instead of 1-866-499-8008.

I can check my order status on this link https://www.wireless.att.com/order_status/order_status.jsp?vMethod=&vNumber=&ZipCode=

What do you guys think. I didn't know premier had there own type of number. They said I'm all ready to go everything looks good just waiting for the iPhone to be ship and they said 24-28

Pre-order for when? All the pre-orders for launch day are taken. You can either walk into a store selling iPhones (get there extra early, hours before it opens) or wait until there's a steady stock.

The 1-866 number cuts to the chase for Premier accounts. The operators are specifically for the business accounts and their hours of operation are only M-F, 9-5. The 611 is a more general number and I've found it's a waste of my time to call that one. I pre-ordered by phone using the 1-866 and it was quicker and easier than ordering online.

Be careful though because the 1-866 number DOES count toward your anytime minutes and will eat them up by sitting on hold as long as you will...
