they managed to jailbreak the 2 generation but as of now, the process is to difficult to be practical:apple:😕🙂😉
 
You should unsticky this... a jailbreak is already out.

redsn0w is tricky, but i've jailbroken all of my friends 2gs and mine.

Does anyone know or estimate when will the untethered version will be out. I see no point in jailbreaking a tethered version unless needed. Will it ever happen? I really can't wait. Has anyone else (other than iPhone-Dev team) figured out a way? Thanks!
