Using Activity Monitor, it seems Safari's memory usage starts to balloon after a while. What kind of trade-offs would you see running a browser that is 64 bit that is consuming more memory, or running a 32 bit browser (Chrome), that is using less? Not all active programs are 64 bit, but often the majority are.

Mac Mini 2.4 GHz Intel, Mac OS X 10.6.5 with 8GB of RAM. I am never short on RAM for the things I do, but I was just curious.
