I have an early 2009 20" iMac (2.66 gHz C2D processor, 8 GB RAM); the official Apple list does not identify this model as supporting 64 bit Win 7 in Boot Camp.

I'm wondering why, I dl a program that identifies that the processor and efi are both 64 bit; anybody else running 64 bit Win 7 on this iMac?

Thanks!

I have a similar model 2009 iMac. I had a beta version of Win7 64-bit on it at one time and it worked just fine. Although it was in VMWare Fusion. But I still think it would work fine in BootCamp.

In the image below, I have Linux, WinXP and the Win7 all running in a VM.
