No idea how the tech works, but I know back in the day CrossOver did macOS app wrappers for Windows programs. Is it not possible to make a 64 bit "wrapper" for a 32-bit macOS app to then run 32-bit apps on Catalina and above?

Sounds like a good undergrad project— make a transpiler. Completely possible. I think the main issue would be supporting defunct APIs. Still, doable with enough undergrads.

A 32bit to 64bit Rosetta should be possible, but didn't Apple also deprecate or remove a lot of system APIs during that transition?
