I’ve had a 256 ip7 plus and have barely got 25-30gb on it with a bunch of music and some videos from the camera (no movies really). I’m pretty interested in the 4K now that it has the 60 FPS. Is it necessary to fork over the money for 256? Or is 64 ok? Annoyed they removed the 128gb option....

Get the 256 only If you plan on doing more 4k video AND if you plan on keeping the device for 2-3 years. If you upgrade yearly then get the 64gb

You make a good point. If somebody is doing a lot of recording, especially in 4K video, that will quickly consume storage based on that alone. Not to mention, Live Photos as well.

That alone says you should definitely get the 256GB model.

Both of you made great points but if he's updating yearly he *could* make due with a 64gb with iCloud storage. I think 250-500gb is only 2.99 monthly
