Screen flickering at certain brightness (Unibody Late 08)

Hi,

I have the Late 2008 Unibody MacBook Pro. I've noticed that at 6 brightness, I can see the screen flickering/refreshing, but when I go any higher than that it's mostly unnoticeable. I'm using the 9400M, I haven't tried it with the 9600GT.

Does anybody notice similar things and have any idea how to fix this?

yep, same problem, most noticeable on anything less than half brightness. It happens on both video cards. However my flicker stops after about 10 minutes warmed up.
