I'm using a 12 inch g4 powerbook on a tv via an svideo cable. the screen seems to curve in on both sides of the tv when the computer is set to 640x480 mode. i've made sure the issue is not related to the settings on the tv. Is there any way that i could fix this?

What type of TV set is that? CRT? If somehow possible I'd try 800x600, most CRT's look better that way.
