A few weeks ago - I opened my MBA - and before turning it on - i noticed a... grey/silvery patch in the middle of the screen. kinda like - maybe there had been some pressue on it - or maybe it was dirrty with something. But when powered on the screen looked perfect as usual.

Anyways this continued for the past few weeks - and I just now figured it out.... Not sure why i never saw it for the first 2 months i owned it....

I am sure all the rest of you will know what it is right away... But Hey - this is my first Mac notebook...

This is the best shot i can get - it's more pronounced in real life :

The Apple Logo? Do you have it near an bright window or something like that, I have never seen that on any of the 3 Macbooks I have owned.

LOL !

I'm laughing at you now , but TBH I did exactly the same when I first got my white macbook a while back ! , could only see it in certain light conditions though.
Sort of a mixed feeling of "D'oh !" and relief when you realise :D

Is there a light shining from behind your MBA? I have one and have never noticed light shining through the Apple from the lid.

Anyways, funny thing as long as doesn't affect your display. These sure are beautiful Macs! I love the MBA 2.0!
