I have my 8GB iPhone set to sync a few Genius Mixes from iTunes, but every time I plug my phone to sync the calendar, apps, etc., it freaks out and has to resync 80% of the music on the iPhone. The biggest problem with this happening is the music file is deleted from the iPhone, yet the metadata (Artist, Album, Song etc.) still appear on the iPod app. You can try selecting a song but it will just skip to the next available track.

Instead of taking a few minutes to sync, it takes a couple of hours to redownload the same songs. I never noticed this happening until I checked the "Convert higher bit rate songs to 128 kbts AAC" box, so I assume there is an issue with that function.

Any suggestions???
