I found memory usage for 64GB model and have a few questions.
Cached files means files in memory to speed up reopening app?
Do Cached files includes files for already closed app or currently running app as well ?
And memory used means usage for currently running apps ?
Then total memory being used currently would be Memory used + Cached files ?

I have never used MacOS so i am trying to understand how it works.

If I understand, Cached Files are files for stuff not currently in use, and stay indefinitely, until they're overwritten. Files for apps in use are under Memory Used.

Since MacOS is designed to use all the RAM, Memory used + Cached Files will stay close to Physical Memory unless you have way more than you normally need (which may well happen often with 64GB - doesn't mean you won't be grateful for it when you need it).

I think the figures given include memory reserved, not only memory actually written to, btw. Memory Pressure shows how tight things really are by some method no doubt known specifically only by a few retired Apple engineers.
