my 2009 mbp battey is on 350 cycles and is now reporting 65000 mAh with 20 hours of battery life, this is obvously an error (although secretly hoping it isnt

in the about this mac the status is 'Replace now'. i have been having issues over the last few months with the battery having 2000 mAh after a full charge or 4500 mAh, and switching between 'check battery' and OK.
is this the end of my battery, or is there a hard reset i can carry out on the battery's health monitoring chip?
