Speech doesnt work for me

Im having a play with this speech application it doesnt seem to recognise my commands despite them being in the speakable items list, it sometimes picks up random ones but it isnt very reliable help please

This has been my experience as well. Speech recognition seems flaky at best, with no seeming rhyme or reason as to why a command is recognized.

Has anyone had experience with a 3rd party app that works more reliably?
